Under the guidance from researchers from different national and international institutes, the specially abled children of the Different Art Centre gets a hands-on start on scientific research activities.
‘Scientia’ was formally inaugurated on Tuesday, 07 July 2020 by Dr. Mohammed Asheel, Executive Director of the Kerala Social Security Mission. Scientia aims at promoting curiosity amongst children on scientific subjects and take them to international levels.
The Scientia Research supervisory panel is
led by Dr. Finosh Thankam, Faculty at the Western University and supported Fr.
Vincent Perepadan from University of San Francisco.
In a national conference held on March 9, 2021, the children from the Scientia program at Different Arts Centre, presented ‘Zero waste institutions for sustainable ecosystem: a concept note’, which was immensely lauded by the experts.
