Cochin Shipyard Limited

Cochin Shipyard Ltd (CSL) is the largest shipbuilding and maintenance facility in India, is part of a line of maritime-related facilities in the port-city of Kochi, in the state of Kerala, India. The company has Miniratna status. The venue, developed under the naturalistic greenery of Tamarind tree, 'Angelo’s Artree and Angelo's Arcade', is the venue for painting and other creative arts and its exhibition. Many children with special needs are non-verbal and astonishingly use art in communicating. CSL also supported ‘Magic of Darkness’ the first theatre designed in an international ambience for the performance by visually challenged persons situated in UEC. The centre is designed with a barrier free ambience with braille system all around according to the ADA checklist.

Cochin International Airport Limited

Cochin International Airport, owned and operated by Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL), is the first airport in India built under Public Private Partnership (PPP). Remarkably, it is the world's 1st fully solar-powered airport. Located 28 km northeast of downtown Kochi, it ranks as the 3rd busiest for international passengers and 7th largest overall in India. The 'Wonder Wings' a creative station for magic presentation in DAC is supported by Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL). The differently abled artistes perform their favourite art form blended with magic. The centre is built in the model of a modern aircraft where the children display magical parades every day. The Wonder wings also presents documentaries and short films made by the artists of DAC.

LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation

The objectives of the LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation are promoting education, health, relief of poverty or distress and advancement of other objects of general public utility. Golden Jubilee Foundation provide a great avenue of fulfilling our social responsibility at the corporate level and our philanthropic needs at the individual level. The Foundation has supported projects ranging from construction of Hospitals, school buildings and classrooms, library, computer centre, old age homes, hostel buildings for children in tribal areas, vocational training centres for differently abled persons to provide infrastructural facilities to needy persons in different pockets of the country. The training centre in DAC is supported by the LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation. Various art forms are trained here by the experts in the field.

Bajaj Finserv

Bajaj Finserv, India's most diversified non-banking finance company, headquartered in Pune, supports Different Art Centre for the operation of 'Prism - Integrated Rehabilitation and Virtual Reality Centre' for providing therapy services to the inhouse children as well as the children from outside DAC. With the support of Bajaj Finserv, DAC could extend the therapy services to the needy children outside DAC also. They have started supporting the therapy programs at DAC since 2022 and still continuing, as part of their CSR initiatives. In addition to therapy services, we conduct several awareness generation programs, with their support, concentrated around 'Prism Clinic'. During 2022-23, they have also supported the SCIENTIA unit to promote research activities among children with special needs.
