Thiruvananthapuram: International Yoga Day and World Music Day were celebrated on 21st June at the Different Art Centre. The event was jointly organized by Isha Foundation and the Different Art Centre. The Yoga Day celebration was inaugurated by Isha Hatha Yoga trainer Priyanka.
A special yoga session titled "Miracle of Mind", which combined sound and yoga, was organized for the differently-abled children at the centre.
Magic Planet Manager Sunilraj C.K. delivered the welcome address, and Intervention Director Dr. Anilkumar Nair expressed the vote of thanks.
As part of the World Music Day celebrations, a folk music festival was held under the leadership of RJ Thilla Aneesh. Children, along with Thilla Aneesh and his team, enhanced the celebration with folk songs and dance performances.
Notable folk artists Adithya and Manojkumar also performed during the event. The Different Art Centre honored and presented gifts to the participating artists.
Different Art Centre has launched The Golden Goal project, aiming to empower differently-abled children through sports.
