
Thiruvananthapuram: The world of Harry Potter has been reimagined through mesmerizing art strokes by differently abled artists at the Different Art Centre. The center's entrance gallery now features stunning, lifelike paintings created with dedication over 63 days. Visitors to the Different Art Centre can now immerse themselves in the Valley of Hogwarts art gallery, experiencing the magic of the beloved Harry Potter series like never before.
Murali Cheeroth, Chairperson of Kerala Lalithakala Akademi, inaugurated the gallery yesterday evening. He expressed his admiration for the children's artistic talent at the event, stating that witnessing their paintings felt like being immersed in a world of colors. He emphasized that institutions truly progress culturally and creatively when they nurture talent. The centre's initiatives reflect its commitment to artistic excellence, providing an environment where nature and art blend harmoniously. He also expressed confidence that this setting would continue to inspire wonderful creations.

Film director Prajesh Sen honored the young artists and their teachers by presenting them with mementos. The inauguration ceremony was further enhanced by children dressed as Harry Potter characters, who released colorful balloons into the sky to mark the occasion. The event was graced by the presence of Gopinath Muthukad, Executive Director of Different Art Centre, Dr. Anilkumar Nair, Intervention Director and Sunilraj C.K, Manager of Magic Planet.
The team behind the captivating artwork includes Abhijith P.S, Akhil S.R, Ashwindev, Jomon Joseph, Achu V, Salsabeen N.S, Gauthamsheen, Akhilesh R.S, Sayamariam Thomas, Parvathi P.V, Ashwinshibu, Shiju B.K, Mohammed Asheeb, Rahul Shankar, and Jasmine. The art sessions were guided by Sanal P.K, drawing teacher at DAC, which Pratheeksha and Subin supported.
