The Different Art Centre is all set to host the country's first national disability art festival.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Elaborate arrangements have been made at the Different Art Centre to welcome differently-abled children coming to the art festival. Arrangements for the gift kits to be given to the children were made under the leadership of mothers of differently-abled children at the centre. A number of dishes have been included in the kit given to the children. Special lighting will be arranged at the Different Art Centre, Magic Planet and Kinfra Film and Video Park.  Various art forms will be performed in the next two days at around 10 venues in the centre. Artists from different states will perform various unique art forms such as dandiya dance, wheelchair dance, odissi dance and gutka dance. Mohanan Namboothiri is preparing the food at Pazhayidam in the Kalamela. North Indian cuisine and kerala's unique flavours will enrich the eateries.  Arrangements have been made in such a way that more than 1,500 people can eat at a time.   Several dignitaries from the differently-abled sector are also participating in the programmes promising the event to be a huge success.
