Thiruvananthapuram: Magic Planet's tenth-anniversary celebrations at Kazhakootam commenced on Friday with the announcement of ten major initiatives. MLA Kadakampally Surendran inaugurated the event. Deputy Mayor P.K. Raju presided over the event, during which the MLA officially announced the ten key projects. The ceremony was attended by Councillor D. Binu, Director of the Different Art Centre Adv. Jayadali M.V. and Magic Planet Manager Sunilraj C.K.
The ten initiatives include a short film festival for persons with disabilities, a magic festival, an agricultural Fair, a chess tournament, a fusion festival, a grand show, inclusive sports, inclusive India, an Arts festival for persons with disabilities, and a photography fest. The two-month-long celebration will conclude on December 31. The short film festival, which was the first event of the initiatives, was showcased and inaugurated by Dr. Anil Nair, Director of DAC Intervention. The event featured short films, documentaries, and feature films focusing on the disability sector.
