DAC Executive Director Gopinath Muthukad's 'Inclusive India' awareness program, aimed at integrating the differently-abled community, captured significant attention during its preview. As he presented the program through his magic show, the audience warmly received his message that instead of sympathy, the differently abled should be embraced as part of our community. Mr. Muthukad emphasized that our thoughts, words, and actions should reflect this inclusion.

The event, which serves as a precursor to his Bharat Yatra for Inclusive India, took place on Saturday at Ganesham. It featured a thematic magic show titled "Watch Your Watch," where most acts involved audience participation, enhancing engagement and wonder. The audience played a crucial role in the magic show, symbolizing their empowerment and responsibility in breaking barriers. One of the magic tricks involved the magician asking the audience to imagine smashing a glass placed over a flower. When the audience acted as instructed, the glass on the stage shattered, symbolizing the breaking of barriers faced by the differently-abled and urging the community to strive to dismantle such obstacles collectively.

The program entertained and educated the audience on various considerations when interacting with the differently-abled community. Adv. Jayadali, chairperson of the Kerala State Disability Development Corporation, and Suryakrishnamurthy were among the attendees. The significant public interest and support for such initiatives, demonstrated by the hundreds of people who were present to witness the event, underscored the audience's role in a larger movement towards disability awareness and inclusion.
