The
second in the series of interactive sessions from MIND (Magical Inspiration Need for Differently abled) was conducted on 22 August 2020 by Dr. Lissy Shajahan,
an Ernakulam based Psychologist. Dr. Lissy has an experience of 15 years
in personal counselling and conducting motivation sessions for families and the
corporate sector. She is also an author and yoga instructor.
An
exclusive interactive session for the female parents of the students at the DAC
discussed a variety of gender related problems faced by the children. Parents
discussed multitude of their concerns about children especially when they are at
home with no exposure to the outside world.
The
online programme was also attended by DAC trainers and co-ordinators.
As part of
the MIND programme series, weekly sessions are conducted for children and
parents as a platform to discuss their issues and concerns.
