HOPE (Heaven Of Peaceful Environment) aimed to provide houses to the homeless differently abled children launched. Minister handed over new house to Manu, a child at the Different Art Centre.

Magic Academy launches HOPE - Heaven Of Peaceful Environment, the new charitable project for providing decent houses for differently abled children. Magic Academy as a responsible organisation has bothered to look into the difficulties faced by our homeless special children. This project is supported by many kind-hearted people who have offered sincere support towards this project.

Our special child Manu is receiving his new home supported by Mr. Nazeer Veliyil, Founder and CEO - Borg Rolls Warner. He offered to complete Manu’s house which was stranded halfway. Now Manu owns a beautiful house located in Karuvaram Panchayath, Attingal. Manu is a Chenda Percussionist in Different Art Centre.

The new house was officially handed over to him on 28 August 2020 by Kerala Minister Kadakampally Surendran.

Manu and his family can now celebrate Onam in their new home. This Onam season, Manu and his family are moving from a tin sheeted one-room to a beautiful secure home designed at Karavaram Panchayath near Alamcode. The Onam gift was given by Nazir Veliyil, CEO of Borg Rolls Warner, Dubai. Minister Kadakampally Surendran handed over the keys to Manu's family as an Onam gift at a function held Friday (28 Aug) evening in compliance with strict COVID 19 protocol measures.

The Minister said that this is the most noble act of compassion and the touch of love that Magic Academy has provided to Manu and his family during this Onam season.

Magic Academy's new initiative Hope – abbreviated from “Heaven Of Peaceful Environment”, a new project to provide houses to the homeless differently abled children was also inaugurated by the minister. He compared the HOPE project with the government's Life Mission project to help the homeless. During the ceremony, Nazir residing in Dubai made a special presence through a zoom meeting. Magic Academy Executive Director Gopinath Muthukad, Director Chandrasenan Mithrmala and DAC Co-coordinator Divya were also present at the function.

Where it all started

Manu’s mother Sarala brought Manu to the Different Art Center at Magic Planet. Realizing Manu's interest, he was enrolled at the Different Art Center. Later, the web series from Gopinath Muthukad portrayed the tough living conditions of Manu’s family, depicting the condition of his half-abandoned house. Seeing this, Nazir Veliyil, native of Karunagapally, offered all financial help needed to complete Manu’s house
