Thiruvananthapuram: A group of differently-abled individuals from the Different Art Centre (DAC) visited the Vizhinjam International Seaport. Led by DAC Executive Director Gopinath Muthukad, the group of approximately fifty students explored the port facilities.
The officials explained the port's operational methods and the logistics of loading and unloading containers from ships. The students were also given the opportunity to witness these operations firsthand. The detailed briefing was conducted by Head of Planning Sherry Francis and Project Manager Vijeesh K. Raj.
Earlier, the group was warmly received by the Head of Corporate Affairs, Anil Balakrishnan. "This visit is a great fortune for the children of the Different Art Centre," said Gopinath Muthukad. "The way the Vizhinjam Port officials embraced these children is a significant step toward social inclusion."
DAC Intervention Director Dr. Anil Nair and Thiruvananthapuram International Airport Corporate Communications Head Mahesh Guptan were also present during the visit.
