Differently-Abled Individuals from Different Art Centre Raise Awareness Against Superstitions

Thiruvananthapuram: In an era where crimes thrive under the guise of superstitions, a group of differently-abled individuals has stepped forward to open the eyes of the public. They became the stars of the National Science Conference by exposing the secrets behind so-called "divine miracles" performed by self-proclaimed godmen.

This revelation took place as part of the National Science Conference organized by the Breakthrough Science Society Kerala Chapter at Tagore Theatre, Thiruvananthapuram. The participants from the Different Art Center debunked various fraudulent tricks disguised as miracles, including setting fire to coconut husk, lying on a bed of nails, and turning colored solutions colorless. They not only exposed these deceptions but also explained the scientific principles behind them.

The team members who presented these scientific magic tricks and received applause from the audience included Amal B, Shabari Krishna, Alan S, Saya Mariam Thomas, Aparna Suresh, Ardra Anil, Abhijith P.S., Ashwindev, Parvathi L.S., Muhammad Ashib, Jyothilal J.S., Rupakrishnan, Jefin P. James, Aparna P.L., Abhiraj S., Manikandan, Muhammad Asif, and Libin B.L.

The event was conducted under the leadership of Sciencia, the research wing of the Different Art Centre, with the aim of fostering an interest in scientific research among differently-abled individuals. Sciencia coordinators Vismay Muthukad and Manjusha Pramod led the program.
