Former Ambassador T P Srinivasan commended the Different Art Centre for its inspiring work with differently-abled children during the inauguration of the sports training program - “RAISE”, at the centre. He emphasized that the centre plays a crucial role in nurturing the talents of these children, fostering their self-esteem, and reinforcing their equal standing in society. Srinivasan described the Different Art Centre as a sanctuary of unique abilities, a place where visitors can find happiness.

The event, graced by Indian athlete and Arjuna Award recipient Roopa Unnikrishnan as the chief guest, was presided over by Gopinath Muthukad, Executive Director of Different Art Centre. The RAISE program aims to train differently-abled children in sports such as football, cricket, volleyball, and basketball. It intends to form a team under the guidance of the Different Art Centre, enabling these children to participate in sports competitions.

T P Srinivasan and Roopa Unnikrishnan initiated a football session to kickstart this initiative. The ceremony also celebrated the achievements of two differently-abled children, Amal B and Shiju B K, from the Different Art Centre, who were selected to participate in the King's League organized by Gokulam FC and were honored with mementos.
